As Nuclear Energy is carbon free, many countries are considering including Nuclear Energy in the future energy mix. The Netherlands is one of these countries revisiting this possibility.

KIVI Students Twente en SV Watt organize a symposium on February 20th titled Nuclear Technology and opportunities for Engineers.

This symposium addresses various nuclear technologies, e.g. Fusion Energy, Fission Energy, Isotope Production, Nuclear R&D. Theory, hardware, instrumentation and recent developments in the Netherlands and elsewhere will be discussed. The symposium concludes with a workshop about opportunities in Nuclear.

Chairman of the day is ir. Mario van der Borst (KIVI).
