On Wednesday March 30th, following our General Members Assembly from 18.00-18.30, KIVI Aerospace will host a mini-symposium on Human Factors, starting at 19.00 in the KIVI building in The Hague.

During this symposium we welcome three experts to the stage to share their knowledge and personal experience on the topic of Human Factors that come into play when flying an aircraft.

  • Maykel van Miltenburg, Human Performance Specialist at NLR, will present his research on monitoring the flow of cognitive load in a fighter cockpit simulator
  • Eric Groen, Aerospace Physiologist at TNO, is specialized in spatial disorientation and works with the DESDEMONA simulator. He will explain how to guard against this phenomenon; through training in the simulator for example.
  • Gerard Temme, owner of CertiFlyer, is a Senior Certification Test Pilot and will share his insights from a pilot’s perspective.

For members who are joining us for the General Members Assembly, we offer a sandwich dinner as well; please indicate in the enrollment options when you wish to make use of this dinner offer.

For Non-members we offer the possibility to try out our KIVI Aerospace membership by joining two events for free.
