Van Industrie 4.0 naar 5.0

In samenwerking met onze zusterverenigingen KNVI en IEEE, nodigt KIVI Informatica jullie uit om deel te nemen aan dit virtuele event “Van Industrie 4.0 naar 5.0”. Let op, de taal zal Engels zijn vanwege de drie internationale sprekers.

Het fenomeen Smart Industry of Industrie 4.0 bestaat al een tijd en is geen onbekende. Inmiddels staat Industrie 5.0 al voor de deur. Wil je weten waar dit over gaat? Hoe dit zich afspeelt onder andere in Europa? En wat zou dit kunnen betekenen voor Nederland?

Steek je licht op bij drie internationale sprekers (Engelssprekend) over dit onderwerp tijdens deze 3^e KNVI Super Tuesday!

De eerste spreker, Maija Breque, zal ons de situatie schetsen voor Industry 5.0 als uitbreiding op Industry 4.0. De tweede spreker, David Romero, volgt daarna met het delen van een visie op de operator van de toekomst. De derde bijdrage is van Johan Stahre, die de nadruk zal leggen op het belang van de ontwikkeling van zowel huidige en toekomstige werkkrachten, aangezien “technologie zo goed is als haar ontwikkelaars en natuurlijk haar gebruikers”.

Maija Breque 
Is one of the authors of the concept paper “Industry 5.0: Towards a sustainable, human-centric and resilient European industry” published in January 2021. She is a policy officer in the European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation since 2016.

The concept of Industry 5.0 extends and complements the existing Industry 4.0 paradigm by placing emphasis on innovation in industry, not just to become more productive, but to become more sustainable, resilient, and, above all, human-centric. Our vision moves an exclusive focus on shareholder value to wider stakeholder value, offering benefits to all involved. Translating our vision for Industry 5.0 into concrete actions will require close collaboration, foremost with industry itself, but also with a large range of other stakeholders.

Professor David Romero 
Is an international research and consultant professor based at the Tecnológico de Monterrey (university). He is recognized as the father and driving force of the “Operator 4.0” vision, which has been addressing the social sustainability and human-centricity requirements of the upcoming Industry 5.0 hallmark since the beginnings of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Looking at the future workforce as a “human-technology symbiosis” making possible to capitalize not only on smart technologies’ strengths and capabilities but also to empower smart operators with new skills and gadgets to fully capitalize on the opportunities being created by the such called Industry 4.0 technologies, and achieve new levels of efficiency, productivity, and resilience that neither human systems nor technical systems can achieve on their own.

Professor Johan Stahre 
Is a research and innovation leader from Chalmers university of technology who has 20 years of experience with human-centred, automation-supported, and resilient work for future employees and occupations.

“ Resilient work – leveraging digitalisation and upskilling to create future human-centric jobs”

Future, resilient work will leverage emerging technologies like AI and collaborative automation, to enhance human performance in Industry 5.0. But technology alone is not sufficient to achieve the anticipated results. Smart and pervasive up-skilling strategies are necessary for more than half of the industrial worker population according to World Economic Forum, but how can this be achieved?

Digitalisering is een van de belangrijkste factoren voor de groei van de Nederlandse industrie. Om te zorgen dat de Nederlandse industrie voldoende profiteert van de kansen die deze digitalisering biedt, is sinds 2014 een coalitie van partijen actief onder de noemer van Smart Industry.

Smart Industry is de combinatie van de nieuwste productietechnologie, geavanceerde software en de mogelijkheden van de moderne communicatietechnologie. Andere landen gebruiken hiervoor termen als Industrie 4.0 en Industrial Internet.
