On December the 12th KIVI Students Eindhoven will again host a CEO-lecture which will this time be coupled with a lunch. The goal of these lectures is to stimulate and enthuse students and young engineers. CEO’s from important companies, with an engineering degree themselves, will talk about their experiences, their career path and how they became a successful CEO.
This time Rick Scholte, KIVI Engineer of the year 2017 and founder and CEO of Sorama B.V., will provide the lecture. Rick Scholte obtained his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente in 2004 after which he started his PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology and obtained his PhD degree in 2008. In 2009 he founded Sorama B.V., a high-tech company specialized in Sound Imaging systems and noise control. Sorama applies their technologies in a lot of different fields such as healthcare, offshore, building and automotive.
How Rick Scholte achieved to found a successful company and keep the company innovative and what he sees as goals for his company and himself in the future, will be central during the lecture.
