Exclusively for students and young professionals

KIVI Students Twente is organizing a cycle MEET THE CEO in the coming months. During these interactive sessions you will have the opportunity to talk to a CEO of a large company about current social developments and the involvement of their organization in them. The dialogue provides insight into how engineers look at general situations with their technical view. The number of participants is limited to 15 so that there is enough time to ask your questions.

On the 12th of January our guest will be Erik Oostwegel (1966) CEO of Royal HaskoningDHV.

Royal HaskoningDHV is an independent company delivering engineering, consultancy and project management services since 1881. We have almost 6,000 professionals operating from across the world who are eager to innovate and co-create with clients and partners to have a positive impact on people, our living environment and the economy. More and more we connect the digital with the physical world. Together with clients and partners, we use data and algorithms to solve new challenges and prevent problems. We help our clients in their digital transformation and we support their business with better and faster execution of their ambitions.

Once it was enough for engineers to ask themselves: How can people’s lives be made easier? Today, in the face of unprecedented challenge and change, I believe the question no longer goes far enough. In response, my work and passion with Royal HaskoningDHV is focused towards a deeper question. How can we contribute to make people’s lives not simply easier, but better? This is also what Royal HaskoningDHV’s mission 'Enhancing Society Together' is all about.
