ONE MOULD FITS ALL

Lecture by Tahira Ahmed, Director at Curve Works

Fibre reinforced plastics such as fibreglass and carbon are, as a result of their low-weight potential,

identified as the most eco-friendly material when it comes to the life cycle assessment of motorised vehicles.

A major problem is that the conventional manufacturing processes require tooling that create a lot of waste, both concerning material & manufacturing costs.

This presentation will show that the use of reusable and reconfigurable tooling is the new, responsible way of manufacturing products.
