Our series of Process Technology Cafés is rapidly growing to be a tradition in gathering parties in an informal setting, talking on interesting topics. This time the topic is:
What are the most important trends in the food processing industry and where can the best opportunities for innovation be found?’

On Tuesday-afternoon April 11th this topic will be central to the first Process Technology Café that is organized collaboratively by GMV and ISPT.

There will be a site visit at the premises of VitaSquare, a presentation on Food processing trends and the café setting to discuss innovation strategies, needs, opportunities across the value chain or seek it internally? What and who really drives innovation in food? in drying? In process technology?

Micro Encapsulation of Nutritional Oils
There is a growing demand for healthy and natural products. Some ingredients are sensitive and must be protected to preserve shelf life, whilst still being bioavailable to the body. Other ingredients can have a negative influence on taste or smell of final food products and therefore must be packed. Encapsulation helps food companies in the application of sensitive nutritional ingredients.
