This symposium is set up for scientific, governmental and commercial parties interested in the entire sustainable formic acid chain. During the symposium formic acid production, distribution and utilization will be discussed; including their environmental, social and economic characteristics.
A test plant for sustainable formic acid production is being developed with usage of sustainable electricity and carbon capture. The formic acid supply chain is designed by market leaders in fuel-distribution. Formic acid to power systems are for the first time developed with significant power outputs. During the symposium, the potential of formic acid as a sustainable energy storage and an economic competitive fuel for a wide variety of applications will be discussed.
