Accurate short term Wave & Ship Motion prediction is one of the cutting edge technologies in the maritime and offshore industry. But how to use it? And what is the operational impact of this innovative technology? After applying their WavePredictor, based on real time radar observations of the waves in the field during several projects, Next Ocean has built an ever increasing database of its field performance. The first statistics study based on this data shows an average increase of operational limits in terms of Hs of 15-20%, without reducing operational safety. In this lecture the Next Ocean founders will show examples of real life applications of this technology. Further they will guide you along the process they have applied to calculate: “The Impact of Wave & Ship Motion Prediction”.

Speakers: Peter Naaijen & Karel Roozen, Founders Next Ocean BV
