The motto of Young KIVI Engineers (the section for young engineers of the Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers) is “inspiring, connecting and facilitating young engineers during their career”.
During this 2nd Friday meeting, a short workshop will be offered on three career topics. The goal is to get some valuable insides which can be applied immediately. The topics are:
• Salary negotiation
Boost your payment with tips on salary negotiations
After a short presentation, we’ll work on our salary negotiation skills.
• Chartered Engineering
The chartered engineering programme is an outstanding opportunity to keep yourself (as an engineer) updated. In a short video and a presentation, the way on how to become “internationally accredited” will be explained.
• CV check
Let professionals have a look at your CV. How do you present yourself on paper? Is this the way you would like to be seen by a potential employer? Don’t forget to bring your CV on paper!
