Elke 2e vrijdag van de maand organiseert Young KIVI Engineers samen met haar partners in de regio's Delft en Eindhoven een netwerkborrel om ingenieurs een vaste ontmoetingsplek te geven.

2nd Friday is dé maandelijkse vrijdagmiddagborrel voor young (industry) professionals die interesse hebben in innovatie en technologie, met als doel te inspireren en je horizon te verbreden. Ons uitgangspunt is 'the more young engineers, the merrier', gezelligheid met vrienden, vakgenoten en altijd een interessant topic.

Peter Bijleveld of Bright Society Eindhoven speaks about the importance of forming a society. Using colourful examples of daily expat life he inspires the audience members to get to know their international colleagues.

One method of creating your own society is to use the so called five-sense programme: Lets go 'Taste' the wine at the wine tasting together, lets 'Smell' the food at the new Indian restaurant, lets 'Hear' the music at the concert together, lets 'See' the theatre play together, lets 'Feel' and play sports together.

Met trots kunnen wij mededelen dat ons bestuur is versterkt met Toon Lamers.

Mijn naam is Toon Lamers, 32 jaar, en zojuist als penningmeester begonnen in het bestuur van YKE. Ik heb werktuigbouwkunde gestudeerd aan Universiteit Twente. Daarna begonnen met werk in Eindhoven bij de NTS-Group. Daar ontwerp ik mee aan een desktop elektronen microscoop van klant Phenom World. Serieproductie in Eindhoven. Ik ben actief geweest bij studievereniging Isaac Newton en het leek me erg leuk het bestuurspad op te gaan. YKE bood een kans welke ik met veel interesse aangreep. Ik kijk er naar uit YKE en KIVI verder te leren kennen en een inspirerende bijdrage te kunnen leveren !
