Ir. Anton Frima, Doctors without borders

On the 15th of October Anton Frima of ‘Doctors without Borders’ visited his old faculty of Civil Engineering & Geoscience on invitation of KIVI NIRIA Students Delft as a speaker in the ‘Engineers in non-technical jobs’-series. The theme of this lecture was charity. Over 70 interested people attended this lunch-lecture in which Anton Frima spoke about Doctors without Borders and especially about the projects that he experienced himself during his time at the company. He highlighted not only the technical difficulties he experienced but also how it was like to be an engineer in a hard and sometimes even hostile environment. The students who attended the lecture received a clear image of what working for a charitable organization like Doctors without Borders would be like. After the lecture ended lunch was served and Anton Frima answered all the remaining questions of the students.
