The port company North Sea Port is investigating the possibility to arrange a tubing system in which gasses can be transported between different companies.
The port company North Sea Port is investigating the possibility to arrange a tubing system in which gasses can be transported between different companies. Residual gas from the blast furnace ArcelorMittal near Gent might be transported to Dow Terneuzen that can use it as a resource.
North Sea Port says this will result in a reduction in CO2 emissions which help to make the climate goals. North Sea Port works together with several local partners and intends to be able to present the results 30th of June 2019.
