Webinar on Dutch Aerospace research focus during wartime
Last week we had the pleasure of digitally welcoming over 40 guests to our webinar on "Dutch Aerospace research focus during wartime". Bram Elsenaar, presenter and author of the book 'Onder de vleugels van Göttingen - Het Nationaal Luchtvaartlaboratorium in de Tweede Wereldoorlog', hosted a very interesting lecture on the role that the NLL and some of the key stakeholders in the Dutch Aerospace research field played during WOII. What followed were intriguing discussions with and between the participants, on the ethical duties and responsibilities of engineers. There is definitely more food for discussion here, maybe a topic worth dedicating an upcoming seminar to?

Lecture on European Robotic Arm
We would like to thank Sytze Kampen (Head of Technology Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands BV) for the very interesting presentation 6 October about the development of European Robotic Arm which has been launched into space towards the International Space Station ISS. It was great to be able to physically be present on our KIVI location in The Hague and for our members to meet in person.
