At DAF Trucks, the IT Department is at the forefront of this digital transformation by providing our customers with dedicated support that can help deliver even higher levels of efficiency and productivity. AR and VR 3D visualisation, for example, guarantees a faultless ordering process and a significant reduction in lead times. And, DAF Connect offers customers an expert understanding of driving characteristics and vehicle efficiency. DAF Trucks is embracing the future of transportation by combining IT and business trends to provide customers with the very best experience throughout the whole life of the vehicle.
At the DAF premises, you are invited at the DAF Experience Centre in Eindhoven to join with us a drink served with a bite. After the introduction a presentation about the background of DAF’s 3D-truck configurator, that has won the famous Computable Award 2018 at the beginning of this year. Followed by a VR demonstration.
Next, after a break, you’re invited to join a workshop about connecting truck to home base and other ideas about connected services. We are closing this presentation and workshop with a special exhibition event.
