Advanced Technologies for Industry

Presentatie van een nieuw EU platform over geavanceerde technologieën. Sinds 2019 wordt gewerkt aan een platform waar informatie over zestien geavanceerde technologieën (inclusief bijvoorbeeld de categorieën Advanced Materials, Artificial Intelligence/Big Data, Cloud Computing, Nanotechnologie en Cybersecurity) op één plek te vinden is. Het doel is om beleidsmakers, het bedrijfsleven en academici te voorzien van:

• Statistische data over de creatie en het gebruik van geavanceerde technologieën (inclusief informatie over voorwaarden zoals skills, investeringen of ondernemerschap)
• Rapportages over technologische trends, opkomende technologieën, sectorale inzichten en technologie-gebaseerde producten
• Analyse van beleidsmaatregelen en tools gerelateerd aan de adoptie van geavanceerde technologieën
• Analyse van technologische trends in concurrerende economieën zoals de VS, China of Japan
• Toegang tot technologische centra en innovatie hubs in EU landen

Het project vervangt de voormalige KETs Observatory en Digital Transformation Monitor.

Presentation of a new EU platform on advanced technologies. Since 2019, work has taken place to create a platform where information about sixteen advanced technologies (including for instance the categories Advanced Materials, Artificial Intelligence/Big Data, Cloud Computing, Nanotechnology  and Cybersecurity) can be found in one place. The aim is to provide policymakers, industry and academics with:

• Statistical data on the creation and use of advanced technologies (including information on conditions such as skills, investments or entrepreneurship)
• Reports on technological trends, emerging technologies, sectoral insights and technology-based products
• Analysis of policies and tools related to the adoption of advanced technologies
• Analysis of technological trends in competitive economies such as the US, China or Japan
• Access to technology centres and innovation hubs in EU countries

The project replaces the former KETs Observatory and DigitalTransformation Monitor.
