After months of hard work from voluntary contributors, and in close cooperation with the Dutch Offshore Industry, the KIVI OT Jubilee book is currently being finalized.

After months of hard work from voluntary contributors, and in close cooperation with the Dutch Offshore Industry, the KIVI OT Jubilee book is currently being finalized. The book celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Offshore Technology section of the Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers (KIVI), it is intended to sketch the position and role of the Dutch Offshore Engineer and Technology in the worldwide offshore scene, centered about today. History, today’s reality and future scenarios will be presented and discussed, with facts, feelings and perceptions of real engineers in a dynamic world.

The book, which will be counting close to 200 pages, will be officially presented at the MOST symposium “Future of the North Sea”, which will take place at 21 November at the Haagse Hogeschool in The Hague. The target audience will be: KIVI members, participating companies, and any member of the Dutch and international offshore community. The book will cover history, present and foremost the future of the Dutch offshore industry and the interesting developments relating to the ongoing energy transition.

The MOST symposium is currently fully booked. For a place on the waiting list you can send a mail to info@kivi.nl. As of 1 November the rest of the tickets will be distributed among people on the waiting list, priority will be given to OT members.
