KIVI Offshore Technology Best Graduates Awards
This years KIVI Offshore Technology Best Graduate Awards were given to Dion Koreman and Stijn Bot for their excellent graduation theses. On the 17th of March they presented their work at the KIVI headoffice in The Hague.

MARIN ontvangt Maritieme Erepenning op symposium ‘One step beyond’ van Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs
Marin ontving op het symposium ‘One step beyond’ de Maritieme Erepenning. Ter promotie van de maritieme sector en de keuze voor een maritieme carrière werd door de afdelingen Maritieme Techniek en Offshore Techniek van het Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs (KIVI) de erepenning uitgereikt aan het MARIN. Ditmaal heeft het KIVI ervoor gekozen om niet aan een persoon, maar een instituut de erepenning te verlenen.

Jan van Kessel honored as Member of Merit (Lid van Verdienste) of KIVI Offshore Technology
Former KIVI OT chairman Jan van Kessel has been honored as Member of Merit of the department of Offshore Technology. The current board of KIVI OT unanimously decided that Jan rightly deserves this honor for his immeasurable efforts devoted to KIVI OT over the years. Yesterday, in a modest and corona-proof gathering, Jan received his honor and was congratulated via videocall by people who couldn’t make it due to coronavirus restrictions.

KIVI Offshore Technology best thesis awards - report
During the MOST-symposium on 21 November 2019, two awards for best graduation theses were awarded to students that have graduated in a subject related to offshore or dredging engineering.

Charter accompanying the honorary medal of the KIVI division for Offshore Technology was presented to Dr. Ir. David-Pieter Molenaar
The honorary medal is intended for persons who or organisations which have made themselves exceptionally worthy in the field of Offshore Technology. In order to be granted this medal, the laureate must have produced innovative, original or brilliant work and have made a considerable contribution to the field. The granting of the medal emphasises the laureate’s abilities as designer, constructor, scientist, research worker or entrepreneur.

The KIVI OT Jubilee book: 50 years KIVI Offshore Technology
After months of hard work from voluntary contributors, and in close cooperation with the Dutch Offshore Industry, the KIVI OT Jubilee book is currently being finalized.

The programme for the MOST symposium, organized by KIVI Offshore Technology and MarTec, has been published online.
