The 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) is a global, cross-industry organization of companies from the automotive, technology, and telecommunications industries (ICT), working together to develop end-to-end solutions for future mobility and transportation services.

Created in September 2016, 5GAA has rapidly expanded to include key players with a global footprint in the automotive, technology and telecommunications industries.

This includes automotive manufacturers, tier-1 suppliers, chipset/communication system providers, mobile operators and infrastructure vendors.

The 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) is pleased to invite you to our online session on the “Evaluation of Radio-Based Positioning Enhancements for Automotive Use Cases.”

In anticipation of the forthcoming release of a technical report on the Evaluation of Radio-Based Positioning Enhancements for Automotive Use Cases (EPOS) Work Item, the 5G Automotive Association is hosting an online session on Wednesday, 4 October, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM (CEST).

The session will be led by Maximilian Stark (Bosch), Berthold Panzner (Nokia), Kerry Glover (Qorvo) and Jaeho Hwang (LGE). 

As the leading contributors to this publication, they will present the highlights of the EPOS technical report on the potential role of radio-based positioning technologies to support or enable automotive use cases with demanding positioning accuracy constraints.
