Telecommunications: 'Need for Dynamic Spectrum and How to Satisfy It.'

Dynamic Spectrum sharing is necessary because growing demand is crowding the airwaves. Smartphones, the Internet of Things, military and public safety radios, wearable devices, smart vehicles and countless other devices all depend on the same wireless bands of the electromagnetic spectrum to share data, voice and images. The department KIVI-Telecommmunications invited you for the following seminar at March 28, 2023 with the theme: “Need for Spectrum and How to Satisfy It” is the subject for explaining more about Spectrum Sharing. This interesting seminar will give the concepts to be ready for the future frequency spectrum. The following speakers will give their opinion about the developments and possible solutions; “Frameworks and Technologies that can enable Real-time Dynamic Spectrum Sharing” Speaker: Spilios Giannoulis, Universiteit Gent and IMECand “Dynamic Frequency Management and Sharing (DSMS)” Speaker: Frank Bodewes, Dutch Digital Infrastructure Authority (RDI)

VZKC: Lezing over ‘Groene waterstof voor alle Namibiërs’

De VZKC nodigt ons uit voor de bijeenkomst van de Vereniging voor Zonnekrachtcentrales op 25 maart a.s. Agnietenkapel, Gouda. Deze bijeenkomst zal uit twee delen bestaan. Het eerste deel, voor alleen VZKC leden, is de jaarvergadering 2023 (ALV) van de vereniging Zonne Kracht Centrales (VZKC). Het tweede deel, voor VZKC leden en belangstellenden, is een lezing van Micha de Roos over ‘Groene waterstof voor alle Namibiërs’.

Terugblik op ElaadNL: Webtalk #48 Smart Charging en V2X veroveren Europa

In deze Webtalk nemen Frank Geerts (ElaadNL) en Harm Weken (FIER) u mee in het Europese project SCALE en de stappen die worden gezet om massale opschaling van slim laden en V2G (Vehicle to grid) mogelijk te maken. SCALE (Smart Charging Alignment for Europe) is een driejarig Europees project onder het Horizon Europe Program met use cases in Frankrijk, Duitsland, Hongarije, Noorwegen, Zweden en Nederland (Rotterdam, Utrecht en Eindhoven).

E Lunch webinar: 'Zelfvoorzienend worden met zonne-energie'

De vraag naar stroom stijgt enorm door de grootschalige elektrificatie. Steeds meer bedrijven gaan zelf duurzame energie opwekken en gebruiken, onder andere met zonne-energie. De netbeheerders kunnen en hoeven dit niet alleen op te lossen. Want met de combinatie van zonne-energie, energieopslag en met slimme software kunnen we de lokaal opgewekte energie ook lokaal gebruiken. Hoe presteert een megazonnedak in combinatie met energieopslag in de praktijk? Inmiddels is het distributiecentrum Schiphol Trade Park gereed en sinds ruim een half jaar operationeel. Sanne Castro (Joulz) vertelt graag meer over de praktijkervaring, performance van het zonnedak en de Virtual Power Grid.
